Evaluate Boulder Public Library and enter a prize drawing

Library’s bi-annual customer satisfaction survey ends Nov. 25

The Boulder Public Library is conducting its bi-annual customer satisfaction survey at the Main Library and the Meadows and Reynolds branches to obtain updated information on which services patrons use most, and why. The two-week survey period ends Nov. 25, and is being conducted at libraries using an electronic survey device and online at the library’s Website.  The survey is available in both English and Spanish.  Four lucky patrons who take the survey and enter themselves into a prize drawing will win one of four $25 gift cards to the Boulder Book Store.

The library conducts bi-annual patron surveys to give the community an opportunity to evaluate library services and materials, and to give administrators data to plan future service improvements.   Survey results are tracked over time, and contribute to policy decisions for implementing the 2007 Library Master Plan.   The results of the data will be available on the library’s Web site by the end of the year.

“It’s very important for us to hear from the community about what they like or don’t like about the library,” said Library and Arts Director Tony Tallent.  “We use this information to guide future changes and make the library a better experience for everyone. Tell us what you think!”

This bi-annual customer satisfaction survey is different than the recently conducted survey the library conducted regarding the current study of library facilities sustainability in September.  The final report from the consultant for the Facilities Sustainability Study is due in January.
