Mark Your Calendar!

Hundreds of people come through the doors of our four public library locations in Boulder each day.  Many of these folks are on a mission to find that one certain book.  Many are coming to meet a friend or attend a program.  Others are simply looking for inspiration by browsing our collections.  Whatever your reason for coming to the library, we welcome you.

By looking at our calendar of programs and events this June, I’m convinced you’ll find many reasons to visit with us.  For kid readers (especially those who love dogs), you’ll see that you can practice your reading with a calm and friendly, certified “reader dog” at Main Library. For teens who’d like to find out more about how to keep their minds and senses sharp, the library offers gaming events.  Adults can learn from one another in ongoing discussions and conversations that happen each week.  In addition, you’ll find information about our hugely popular concerts, films and storytelling events.  There really is something for everyone.

The library’s print newsletter, as well as our Web Site, can be your guide to finding out the what, where and when of great things to do. To make it more convenient for you, we’ve recently made changes to our online calendar.  Not only can you find out about programs in any easy-to-read calendar format, you can receive email updates and reminders about programs you’re interested in as well as easily send the information to friends and family.
Take a look at all we have to offer.  Mark your calendar to join the learning and fun!

  1. Hi Tony,
Congratulations on your new position. I bet it’s great out there.
Let’s keep in touch. Can I get your contact info?

  2. Dear Sirs:

Besides my work here at Platte Valley Medical Center (Brighton), I also serve as a Councilman for the City of Brighton. I was recently up in Vail for the Colorado Municipal League meetings during which I attended a panel discussion called “Partnering with your Library Equals more Bang for your Buck ,” sponsored by the Colorado Library Assn. I was told (in place of handouts) that materials would be made available on the CML website. Unfortunately, I’ve looked there and can’t find anything. If you know where I could get materials from that panel discussion or some related materials on the collaboration and cooperation between libraries and organizations/businesses in the community, that would be very helpful.

    Thanks so much!
